Funeral services for Rev. Roger “Glenn” Hodges, 71, of Lucedale were held March 11, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Crossroads Free Pentecostal Church. He was born February 8, 1952 in Bay Minette, Ala. He was a member of Crossroads Free Pentecostal Church. He retired as a project coordinator for Huntington Ingalls. He served as a pastor for Murrah Hills Revival Center, also as royal rangers for MS deputy district coordinator and outpost 64 at Crossroads Free Pentecostal Church. He died March 8, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Cynthia “Cindy” Hodges; two daughters Erica (Chris) Steede and Vanessa Braswell; five grandchildren Colton (Vana) Steede, Ryan Steede, Kallie Steede, Darla Fairley and Brady Fairley; two great-grandsons Brycen Steede and Aiden Steede, all of Lucedale; sister Doris (Woody) Morrison of Mobile, Ala.; and brother Neal (Barbara) Hodges of Bay Minette, Ala. He was preceded in death by his parents Willie Lee and Pearl Hodges; parents-in-law Rev. Millard and Kathleen Howell; two brothers J.T. and Tommy Hodges; and two sisters Ann Brantley and Carolyn Pugh. Officiating the services was Rev. Warren Slay. Interment was held in Crossroads Free Pentecostal Church Cemetery. Pallbearers included Ben Hare, Dennis Cochran, Matt Mizell, Van Easterling, Logan Byrd, Morgan Bell, Mitchell Howell and Eddie Havard. Honorary pallbearers included Johnny Hayden, Larry Cochran, Scott Taylor, Tim Maples, Paul Slay, Joe Howell, Dayton Rouse, Chris Bond, Lamar Moss, Jim Sudduth and Kenley Byrd. George County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
