A memorial service for Frank E. Evans, 49, of Houston, Tex., will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of George County Funeral Home at 2 p.m.

        A former resident of Lucedale, he was born Jan. 21, 1971. He was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. He had resided in Houston for the past  13 years working in the oil and gas industry. He was an avid football fan. He and his wife Jessica were New Orleans Saints fans and enoyed going to as many games as they could. He had dreamed of being a doctor and loved reading about medicine. To know him was to love him and to never forget him. He impacted people in a positive way if they would allow him time to talk with them. He and his influence will be deeply missed by all. He died June 27, 2020.

     He is survived by his wife of 10 years Jessica Goff Evans; their daughter  Brooklyn Carter Evans; mother Marie Evans; sister Rebecca Evans Brockway; brother-in-law Terry Brockway; nieces Keisha and Kimber Brockway; nephew Breck Brockway; great nieces Lexi Tanner, Reign Tanner, Bella Henderson, Lyla Stevens; great nephew Bryson Brockway; mother-in-law Teresa Goff; father-in-law Kent Goff; brother-in-law Jared Goff and a host of other relatives and friends.

      He was preceded in death by his infant son Carter Lane Evans and his father Frankie Evans.

       Officiating the service was Rev. Jeff Morris.

    George County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
