Funeral services for Donald Keith Davis, 53, were held Oct. 5, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Moments Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation was held Oct. 4, 2021 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Moments Funeral Home. He was beyond a great man. He was one of a kind. He loved farming and watching his hard work grow into something delicious to eat. He loved taking care of all the hundreds of hummingbirds that come to visit every year. He loved romantic "chick flick" movies. He loved his wife and family passionately. He showed it and proved it everyday. He was not perfect and he never claimed to be. He had the kindest, gentlest soul. He was kind to anyone who was kind to him. He was hard working, brilliant and a natural born teacher. He was such a goofball sometimes. He loved to come up with ways to pick at or aggravate his family and friends. He loved to laugh and to have others laugh with him. His last day was spent the way he wanted. He was so happy and kept saying what a beautiful day it was. It was a beautiful day for him because he was able to leave this earthly world to be in Heaven with our Father God. He has left every person that truly knew him better than they were before. He died Oct. 1, 2021. He is survived by his wife Suzanne Davis; children Michael Orion Seal, Kayli Thornton and Hunter Seal; mother Gean and Benson Bexley; sister Evie Davis (Tim) Sullivan; nieces Kristin Blue (Justin) Finley, Lynnsey Blue and Lauren Blue and parents-in-law Sherry (Paul) Chisholm. He was preceded in death by his father Donald Rayborn Davis; maternal grandparents Ernest and Clara Rouse Snelgrove and paternal grandparents Otto and Eva Miller Davis.
