Funeral services were held for Douglas Calvin Danley, 81, of Lucedale on Saturday, June 8, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Interment followed in Oak Grove Cemetery with Rev. John Grimes officiating the services.
A retired ironworker and a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, he died June 4 in Mobile, Ala. He was born May 8, 1938 in Pensacola, Fla.
He is survived by his children Tony (Lynn) Danley of Birmingham, Ala, Bernie Danley of Staten Island, N.Y., Steve (Toni) Danley of Mobile, Ala. and Lisa (Fred) Robertson of Saraland, Ala.; grandchildren Brooke Williams, Blake Rowell, Jacob Danley (Tony), Chris Rule, Melissa Brannon, Amanda (Bernie) Philley, Stacy Williams, Shane Danley, Chase Danley, Brandon Danley (Steve) and Rachel Robertson (Lisa); 19 great-grandchildren; and brother Frank Danley of Lucedale.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bernard Douglas and Edna Ruth (Ethridge) Danley.
Sigler Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
