Funeral services were held for Beulah Jean Christain Stacy, 76, of Lucedale on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Coleman Funeral Home Chapel in Ackerman.
Interment followed in Enon Cemetery in Ackerman with Rev. Rick Wilkerson officiating the services.
A 1964 graduate of Mississippi University for Women, a retired teacher and the head of the home economics department at George County High School in Lucedale for over 20 years, she died June 11, 2019. She was born February 17, 1943, in Sulligent, Ala.
She is survived by her daughters Jennifer Kay Stacy of Lucedale, Cindy Renee Stacy, Michele (Anthony) Lewis, both of Baton Rouge, La.; grandchildren William Sydney Lewis, Jacob Merrill Lewis, Austin Steven Lewis and Emily Michele Lewis; and sisters Mary Elizabeth Wolff of Sulligent, Ala., Charlotte Ann Walker of Florence, Ala. and Bettye Ray Christain of Sulligent, Ala.
She was preceded in death by her husband Merrill Parley Stacy, son Jeffrey Boyd, parents Clayton Edward and Virginia Elizabeth (Gunter) Christain and sister Eva Mae Christain.
Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman was in charge of arrangements.
