Mae Belle Moulds Patterson

 Funeral services for Mae Belle Moulds Patterson, 66 of Lucedale, were held December 29, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Lucedale Church of God in Christ. She was born August 15, 1955 in Laurel. She was a graduate of George County High School class of 1973, then graduated from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, earning a degree in Nursing, and worked at George County Hospital. She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church and New Testament Church of God in Christ. She loved people, food, music, and loved to have fun. She died December 22, 2021. She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Ponder of Clinton; her son, Eric Moulds of Tega Cay, S.C.; seven stepchildren; one brother, Tommie (Wanda) Boulton of Lucedale; five sisters, Melvenia Boone of Cleveland, Ohio, Christine Dawkins of Hickory, Angie (Solly) Cowan of Lucedale, Letha Boulton of Lucedale and Connie Kendall of Decatur; special niece, Rebecca Boulton; Godchild, Hannah Moye; special friends, Karen Moore, Larita Hill, Barbara Alexander, and Wanda Jean Hill; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Patterson Sr.; father, Tommie George Boulton Sr.; mother, Callie Mae Ezell; grandparents; three brothers, Tommie G. Boulton Jr., Charlie Boulton and Paul Boulton; five sisters, Willie D. Smith, Rosemary Bilbo, Ophelia Scott, Amanda Boulton and Annie Jean Boulton. Officiating the services was Supt. Solly Cowan and Elder Richard Cowan. Interment was held at Bethel M.B. Church in Hickory. Pallbearers included all of the nephews; flower bearers included all of the nieces. Cowan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
