Funeral services for Alvin L. Brannon, 78, of Lucedale were held June 7, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Calvary United Pentecostal Church.

He was born Jan. 15, 1943 in Leakesville. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He was employed as a construction worker in the pipe department. He was a member of the Mt. Calvary United Pentecostal Church. He died June 2, 2021 in Lucedale.

He is survived by his wife Betty Brannon; daughter Shannon Brannon; granddaughter Autumn Rayne Brannon; sisters Sue Parker, Fay Brannan and Nell Cooley (Kenneth) Long and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Pinkey and Martha (Busbee) Brannan; siblings Ruthie Dykes, Melton Bolen, Vina Mae (Buster) Middleton, Buddy Brannan, “B” (Bob) Ellis, Nadine (Bud) Parnell, Inez (Terrell) Todd and Marion Cooley.

Officiating the services was Rev. Jimbo Roberts. Interment was in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery in Leakesville.

Sigler Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
