Funeral services for Juanita Henderson Faurot, 87, of Lucedale were held March 19, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Barton Baptist Church.
She was born June 5, 1933 in Jackson County. She was a member and church secretary at Barton Baptist Church for more than 40 years. She was involved in many leadership areas of the church over the years. Until last year she ministered to the senior citizens of the community. She had a heart for ministering to others. She was a servant of the Lord and was loved by all.
She died March 17, 2021.
She is survived by her husband Marshall “Skip” Faurot; son Michael Byron (Jasie) Faurot of Lucedale; daughter Lisa (Tony) Freeman of Lucedale; four grandchildren Nathan (Janene) Freeman of Lucedale, Rianna (Steven) Turner of Mobile, Ala., Miranda (Kevin) Stringer and Joel (Alyse) Faurot, both of Lucedale; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister Linda Moody of Lucedale.
She was preceded in death by her parents Earnest and Anna Henderson; two brothers Buck Henderson and Everette Henderson and a sister Ernestine Ledbetter.
Officiating the services were Rev. John W. Henry and Rev. Brad Howard. Interment was in Barton Baptist Church Cemetery.
George County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were E. B. “Brownie” Brown, Tommy May, Doug Hatcher, Curtis Smith, Ed Havard and Ronnie Sharp.
