Two suspects in a recent series of random shootings have been arrested, according to Lucedale Police Chief Kellum Fairley.

Tiona Reshay Harrell, 18, and Ranson Drake Kendrick, 20, were arrested on Thursday, April 28, and each charged with drive-by shooting.

Fairley said at approximately 3:20 p.m. on March 20, his department received multiple reports of gunfire in the 400 block of Mable Street. Two vehicles were struck by bullets. A subsequent investigation found Kendrick was discharging a firearm from a vehicle driven by Harrell.

Warrants were issued for their arrests, and the two suspects turned themselves in to police.

Fairley said this is an ongoing investigation.

Anyone with information about these shootings is asked to contact Captain Jason Smith or Detective Sergeant La’Quinton Ingram at (601) 947-3261 or (601) 947-1840.
